Etiquette at The Retreat


We suggest making appointments in advance, especially for evenings and Saturdays (our busiest periods). However, we will always do our best to accommodate your request. Prices quoted in our brochure are subject to change at any time.

Booking Policy

For Joint or group bookings we require a deposit at the time of booking.

Dual Treatment Rooms

We are able to offer dual treatment rooms for couples or friends, please notify reception at the time of booking.

Consultation forms

New clients are required to complete a consultation form on arrival including a medical questionnaire. Further details may be required for some treatments if required this will be discussed privately with your therapist.

For some treatments there may be contra-indications, so if you have any medical concerns please check in advance with us (and where appropriate with your doctor) prior to making appointments.

Expired or Lost Vouchers

Expired vouchers cannot be accepted and unfortunately we cannot replace vouchers that have been lost.


You can exchange unopened products within 14 days of purchase with proof of receipt. We cannot exchange any opened products.

Gift vouchers are non refundable, deposits are non refundable and courses of treatments are non refundable and non transferrable.


All times shown are actual treatment times, but please allow extra time if you wish to experience our Relaxation Lounge before or after your treatment, where we can offer you complementary refreshments.

For new clients or for some treatments you may also need to allow extra time for any consultation. Regretfully, if you are late for an appointment we may have to shorten your treatment time to be on schedule for the next client.


We strongly recommend that you leave any valuables at home. The Retreat will not assume any liability for loss of valuables.

Mobile Phones

For the comfort and relaxation of all our clients, mobile phones are not permitted for use in the Relaxation Lounge.

Minimum Age Requirements

Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for all salon services.

Child Policy

For Safety reasons, young children are not permitted to accompany parents/guardians into any of the treatment rooms.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule a reservation, we require 24 hours notice to avoid being charged 100% of the published price of each service booked.

Car Park

The Retreat has a private car park which clients may use during their treatments. Cars parked are left entirely at their owners risk and The Retreat accepts no liability for any damage that may be caused as a result of using the car park. During busy periods, spaces cannot always be guaranteed.
